H.R. No. 125
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Uni-Trade Group is marking its 35th anniversary in
2023, and this milestone provides a fitting opportunity to
recognize the history of this venerable enterprise; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1988 by Eduardo A. Garza Robles and
Rubén Nevárez Pereda, Uni-Trade Group was formed as a customs
brokerage agency in Guadalajara, Mexico; today, the business is a
third-party logistics firm that has grown to encompass a
headquarters in Laredo with over 200,000 square feet of warehouse
space as well as additional offices across Mexico and in El Paso and
San Diego, California; and
WHEREAS, Uni-Trade Group offers a robust suite of services,
including rail, land, air, and overseas transport, oversized cargo
and temperature-controlled transport, warehousing, distribution,
packing and unbundling of shipments, and support with legal advice,
tariffs, information technologies, and customs related to foreign
trade; and
WHEREAS, For three and a half decades, Uni-Trade Group has
provided an important service to citizens in the U.S. and Mexico,
and in so doing, it has contributed to the economic prosperity of
the Lone Star State and beyond; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commemorate the 35th
anniversary of Uni-Trade Group and extend to all those associated
with the company sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Uni-Trade Group as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
