| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Uni-Trade Group is marking its 35th anniversary in |

| 6 | 6 | | 2023, and this milestone provides a fitting opportunity to |

| 7 | 7 | | recognize the history of this venerable enterprise; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1988 by Eduardo A. Garza Robles and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Rubén Nevárez Pereda, Uni-Trade Group was formed as a customs |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | brokerage agency in Guadalajara, Mexico; today, the business is a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | third-party logistics firm that has grown to encompass a |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | headquarters in Laredo with over 200,000 square feet of warehouse |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | space as well as additional offices across Mexico and in El Paso and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | San Diego, California; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Uni-Trade Group offers a robust suite of services, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | including rail, land, air, and overseas transport, oversized cargo |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and temperature-controlled transport, warehousing, distribution, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | packing and unbundling of shipments, and support with legal advice, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | tariffs, information technologies, and customs related to foreign |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | trade; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, For three and a half decades, Uni-Trade Group has |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | provided an important service to citizens in the U.S. and Mexico, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and in so doing, it has contributed to the economic prosperity of |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | the Lone Star State and beyond; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commemorate the 35th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | anniversary of Uni-Trade Group and extend to all those associated |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | with the company sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
