| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |

| 6 | 6 | | meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | of Reynaldo Molina III of La Casita, who passed away on August 4, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 2018, at the age of 29; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The son of Reynaldo Molina Jr. and Esenia Bazan, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | "Rey Rey" Molina was born on May 20, 1989; he graduated from Rio |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Grande City High School in 2007; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Molina received his peace officer license from |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the Laredo College Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 2010; he |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | went on to earn an associate's degree in criminal justice from South |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Texas College in 2015 and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | from Lamar University in 2017, and he distinguished himself in his |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | work as an investigator for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Mr. Molina was employed by |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Sharyland High School in Mission as a criminal justice teacher; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | passionate about education and his career field, he also served as |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | an adviser for the school's criminal justice club, and he created a |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | nurturing and supportive learning environment for his students, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | inspiring some to continue their studies in criminal justice; a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | kind and caring man, he was beloved for his optimism and strength of |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | character, and he made a lasting difference in his community; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth ended far too |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | soon, Reynaldo Molina will forever be remembered with great |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | admiration and affection, and his dedication to his family, his |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | students, and his fellow educators will continue to serve as an |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | inspiration to all who knew him; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | Reynaldo Molina III and extend deepest condolences to the members |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | of his family: to his mother, Esenia Bazan; to his father, Reynaldo |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | Molina Jr., and his wife, Nancy Molina; to his sister, Alissa |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | Molina; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further |

| 38 | 38 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
