R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Ernesto Galvan Jr. of
Cotulla were deeply saddened by his passing on May 24, 2023, at the
age of 76; and
WHEREAS, The son of Ernesto and Dora Galvan, "Neto" Galvan
was born on December 31, 1946, and he grew up with the companionship
of eight siblings, Jose, Dimas, Abel, Ester, Melida, Sylvia, Reyes,
and Joel; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Galvan shared a rewarding marriage with his
wife, Willie; he took great pride in his son, Ernesto, and with the
passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to
include four grandchildren, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Ernesto, and Kayla;
active in his community, Mr. Galvan served as board president of
the La Salle County Fair Association; and
WHEREAS, Although Neto Galvan will be greatly missed, he has
left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will
forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
Ernesto Galvan Jr. and extend heartfelt sympathy to his many
friends and loved ones; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Neto
Galvan.
