5	5	WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Ernesto Galvan Jr. of
6	6	Cotulla were deeply saddened by his passing on May 24, 2023, at the
7	7	age of 76; and
8	8	WHEREAS, The son of Ernesto and Dora Galvan, "Neto" Galvan
9	9	was born on December 31, 1946, and he grew up with the companionship
10	10	of eight siblings, Jose, Dimas, Abel, Ester, Melida, Sylvia, Reyes,
11	11	and Joel; and
12	12	WHEREAS, Mr. Galvan shared a rewarding marriage with his
13	13	wife, Willie; he took great pride in his son, Ernesto, and with the
14	14	passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to
15	15	include four grandchildren, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Ernesto, and Kayla;
16	16	active in his community, Mr. Galvan served as board president of
17	17	the La Salle County Fair Association; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Although Neto Galvan will be greatly missed, he has
19	19	left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will
20	20	forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
22	22	Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
23	23	Ernesto Galvan Jr. and extend heartfelt sympathy to his many
24	24	friends and loved ones; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
26	26	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
27	27	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Neto
28	28	Galvan.
