| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Zenia Warren has been elected president of the Texas |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Federation of Republican Women; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, For more than 15 years, Ms. Warren has contributed |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | to the success of the Republican Party of Texas and organizations |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | such as the Central Texas Republican Women and the Texas Federation |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | of Republican Women; she has served the latter as the first vice |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | president for special events, a role in which she has diligently |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | maintained and updated the organization's documentation and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | assisted in the planning and oversight of all events; prior to her |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | most recent office with TFRW, she distinguished herself in the role |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | of vice president for membership by streamlining the membership |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | submission process and working with clubs to set a new membership |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | record in 2021; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Warren has also greatly benefited the Central |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Texas Republican Women through her active involvement; she led the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | organization as president from 2014-2015 and 2019-2022 and has made |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | invaluable contributions as its first vice president for programs, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | second vice president for membership, Americanism chair, awards |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | chair, newsletter editor, and website manager; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, A highly dedicated grassroots volunteer, Ms. Warren |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | has served as an election judge, clerk, ballot board member, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | precinct chair, and deputy voter registrar, and she was vice chair |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | of the Bell County Republican Party from 2014 to 2018; she has |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | devoted her time to many campaigns and candidate steering |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | committees and has attended numerous conventions for the Republican |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Party of Texas, TFRW, and its national counterpart; in honor of her |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | contributions, she received the TFRW Tribute to Women Honoree Award |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | in 2014 and 2016 and the TFRW "10 Outstanding" Award in 2019; and |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Warren retired from a 20-year career as the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | office administrator for the Bell County Attorney's Office in 2012; |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | she and her husband, Bob Weber, are both veterans of the United |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | States Army, and they have resided in Killeen for more than four |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | decades; and |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | WHEREAS, Zenia Warren has made a profound impact through her |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | wide-ranging endeavors in behalf of conservative causes and |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | organizations, and the Texas Federation of Republican Women is |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | fortunate to have such a strong and effective advocate at its helm; |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 43 | 43 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Zenia Warren |

| 45 | 45 | | on her election as president of the Texas Federation of Republican |

| 46 | 46 | | Women and extend to her sincere best wishes for a successful and |
