44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Chambers County commemorated Chamber of Commerce
66 Week on October 16-20, 2023, to acknowledge the contributions that
77 its three local chambers have made to the economic development and
88 prosperity of their communities; and
99 WHEREAS, Each year, a week in October is set aside to
1010 celebrate the achievements of local chambers of commerce and to
1111 highlight the important role that they play in our state; in
1212 addition to cultivating a favorable climate for business, these
1313 organizations are a driving force in promoting job creation and
1414 entrepreneurship, fostering social and professional networking,
1515 improving education, and developing important infrastructure; and
1616 WHEREAS, Chambers County is proudly home to three
1717 organizations, the Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, and Winnie Area Chambers
1818 of Commerce, that truly exemplify this tradition of service; and
1919 WHEREAS, These dynamic organizations have played an integral
2020 part in shaping the development of the communities they serve, and
2121 it is a pleasure to join in recognizing their members' many
2222 noteworthy efforts; now, therefore, be it
2323 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2424 Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor the Anahuac, Mont
2525 Belvieu, and Winnie Area Chambers of Commerce on the occasion of
2626 Chamber of Commerce Week in Chambers County and extend to the
2727 chambers' members sincere best wishes for continued success; and,
2828 be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for each chamber as an expression of high regard by the
3131 Texas House of Representatives.
