| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Chambers County commemorated Chamber of Commerce |

| 6 | 6 | | Week on October 16-20, 2023, to acknowledge the contributions that |

| 7 | 7 | | its three local chambers have made to the economic development and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | prosperity of their communities; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Each year, a week in October is set aside to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | celebrate the achievements of local chambers of commerce and to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | highlight the important role that they play in our state; in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | addition to cultivating a favorable climate for business, these |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | organizations are a driving force in promoting job creation and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | entrepreneurship, fostering social and professional networking, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | improving education, and developing important infrastructure; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Chambers County is proudly home to three |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | organizations, the Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, and Winnie Area Chambers |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | of Commerce, that truly exemplify this tradition of service; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, These dynamic organizations have played an integral |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | part in shaping the development of the communities they serve, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | it is a pleasure to join in recognizing their members' many |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | noteworthy efforts; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby honor the Anahuac, Mont |

| 25 | 25 | | Belvieu, and Winnie Area Chambers of Commerce on the occasion of |

| 26 | 26 | | Chamber of Commerce Week in Chambers County and extend to the |
