| 4 | 4 | | Anita Ramirez Silva of Brownsville are celebrating this joyous |

| 5 | 5 | | milestone in their marriage on October 23, 2023; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Ezequiel Silva Sr. and the former Anita Ramirez |

| 7 | 7 | | first met at a picnic on Easter Sunday in Brownsville in 1947; |

| 8 | 8 | | looking dapper in his double-breasted suit, Mr. Silva caught the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | eye of Ms. Ramirez, a recent Brownsville High School graduate; |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | after a courtship that included dates at the Capitol cinema and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | dancing at the El Jardin Hotel, the couple were joined in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | matrimony in 1948 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Brownsville; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Shortly after their union, Mr. and Mrs. Silva |

| 15 | 15 | | settled in Brownsville to raise their family, which today |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | includes their five children, Ezequiel Silva Jr. and his wife, |

| 17 | 17 | | Shirley, Hector Silva and his wife, Rosaura, Cynthia Silva |

| 18 | 18 | | Martinez and her husband, Jose, Patsy Schanbaum and her husband, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Robert, and Daniel Rene Silva and his wife, Leticia; they have |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | been further blessed with 12 grandchildren, Ezequiel Silva III |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and his wife, Erika, Marcus Silva and his wife, Natalie, Natalie |

| 22 | 22 | | Lahti and her husband, Steve, Lauren Flores and her husband, Roy, |
