2	6		WHEREAS, Sydney Lee participated in the National Rural
3		-	Electric Cooperative Association Government-in-Action Youth
4		-	Tour during the summer of 2023; and
5		-	WHEREAS, Selected as a Youth Tour delegate by the
6		-	Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Ms. Lee joined some 1,500
7		-	students from around the country for an all-expenses-paid trip to
8		-	Washington, D.C.; in the course of the program, she learned about
9		-	U.S. history and government, met with local political
10		-	representatives, and toured various historic sites, such as
11		-	Capitol Hill, the U.S. Supreme Court, and Arlington National
12		-	Cemetery; and

17		-	pride in participating in this exciting experience; now,
18		-	therefore, be it
19		-	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
20		-	Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Sydney Lee
21		-	on taking part in the 2023 National Rural Electric Cooperative
22		-	Association Government-in-Action Youth Tour and extend to her
23		-	sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
	19	+	leader of great promise, and she may indeed take justifiable pride
	20	+	in participating in this exciting experience; now, therefore, be it
	21	+	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature, 3rd
	22	+	Called Session, hereby congratulate Sydney Lee on taking part in
	23	+	the 2023 National Rural Electric Cooperative Association
	24	+	Government-in-Action Youth Tour and extend to her sincere best
	25	+	wishes for the future; and, be it further
