| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the Champions Barbecue Alliance as one |

| 8 | 8 | | of the organization's state championship cook-offs, this |

| 9 | 9 | | much-anticipated event attracts talented chefs from across Texas |

| 10 | 10 | | and beyond; these highly skilled pitmasters put their culinary |

| 11 | 11 | | abilities to the test as they vie to produce the tastiest entries in |

| 12 | 12 | | several different categories; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The event's grand champion will receive an |

| 14 | 14 | | invitation to the American Royal World Series of Barbecue contest |

| 15 | 15 | | as well as an opportunity to compete at the Jack Daniel's World |

| 16 | 16 | | Championship Invitational Barbecue competition; and |
