| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The team of sixteen girls and three managers ended |

| 9 | 9 | | their incredible season with a record of thirty five wins and only |

| 10 | 10 | | seven losses; and |

| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Following a successful regular season, the Lady |

| 12 | 12 | | Warriors dominated their exciting playoff run by sweeping Lutheran |

| 13 | 13 | | South High School in all three games; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, These talented athletes were guided during their |

| 15 | 15 | | championship quest by head coach Megan Degroot and assistant |

| 16 | 16 | | coaches Madyson Hillis, Matti Dabovich, and Shannon Tauaefa; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Winning a state championship represents the |

| 18 | 18 | | culmination of countless hours of hard work and an unwavering |

| 19 | 19 | | commitment to excellence, and these talented student-athletes will |

| 20 | 20 | | treasure the memory of this accomplishment for the rest of their |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
