| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Joining some 200 other players from across the |

| 9 | 9 | | United States and Canada at the tournament, Mr. Wright teamed with |

| 10 | 10 | | his longtime partner/coach, Drew Widney, in the unified |

| 11 | 11 | | competition; the pair edged an Arizona team by three strokes in the |

| 12 | 12 | | final game of the three-day, 54-hole event to claim the title; and |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A versatile athlete, Mr. Wright has participated in |

| 14 | 14 | | a wide range of Special Olympics events over the years, earning |

| 15 | 15 | | numerous medals; his achievements in golf have included winning a |

| 16 | 16 | | gold medal at the 2016 Fall Classic, held at the Briarcrest Country |

| 17 | 17 | | Club in Bryan, and he has spent countless hours practicing at Lions |

| 18 | 18 | | Municipal Golf Course in Austin; his success in the sport has |

| 19 | 19 | | enabled him to follow in the footsteps of his grandmother, who was a |

| 24 | 24 | | at St. Edward's University; he has been employed as an assistant |
