| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The decisive victory came on November 1, with the |

| 9 | 9 | | Rangers shutting out the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 in Game 5 of the |

| 10 | 10 | | Fall Classic to secure the first World Series title in the |

| 11 | 11 | | franchise's 51 years in Texas; and |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Young joined the Rangers organization in 2020 |

| 13 | 13 | | and took helm of the team's baseball operations in 2022; his |

| 14 | 14 | | leadership and vision have helped transform the ball club, which |

| 15 | 15 | | made a dramatic turnaround over the past three seasons to achieve |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A member of the Class of 1998 at Highland Park High |

| 18 | 18 | | School in Dallas, Mr. Young earned All-State honors in baseball and |

| 19 | 19 | | basketball; he went on to star in both sports at Princeton |

| 20 | 20 | | University and was drafted in the third round of the 2000 Major |
