8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Established in 2009, the Tomball Christian Warriors |

9 | 9 | | is a support organization focused on enabling homeschool students |

10 | 10 | | to compete in athletics; the TCW football team has enjoyed notable |

11 | 11 | | success, winning multiple championships in the Texas Christian |

12 | 12 | | Athletic League and finishing as runner-up for the NHFA national |

13 | 13 | | title in 2020 and 2021; and |

14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Joining the nation's other top teams in Panama City, |

15 | 15 | | Florida, for the 2023 NHFA National Tournament, the Warriors |

16 | 16 | | advanced to the semifinals, where they bested the defending |

17 | 17 | | champion Tulsa NOAH Jaguars 23-9 and punched their ticket to the |

18 | 18 | | tournament finale; and |

19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, On November 18, the Warriors took the field at Tommy |

20 | 20 | | Oliver Memorial Stadium to battle the Christ Prep Academy Patriots |

21 | 21 | | for the crown; the Tomball athletes excelled on both sides of the |

22 | 22 | | line of scrimmage and clinched their first national title by the |

23 | 23 | | final score of 17-0; and |

24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, The Warriors were paced by running back and |

25 | 25 | | linebacker Caleb Harmon, the tournament Most Valuable Player, and |

26 | 26 | | he was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Cameron Frank, Drew |

27 | 27 | | Harrison, Jack Alderson, Josiah Nellis, Thomas Frye, and Ty |

28 | 28 | | Rosenbush; throughout the season, the team received vital |

29 | 29 | | contributions from each member of the roster, and these dedicated |

30 | 30 | | student-athletes benefited from the guidance of first-year head |
