| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The Resistol rookie bull riding leader, Mr. Parker |

| 8 | 8 | | is currently ranked eighth overall in the PRCA world standings with |

| 9 | 9 | | more than $150,000 in earnings; over the past year, he has won a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | number of competitions, including the Xtreme Bulls Tour in Grand |

| 11 | 11 | | Island, Nebraska, the Crockett Lions Club PRCA Rodeo, the World's |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, Arizona, and the Pasadena Livestock Show & |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Rodeo, and he was named cochampion at the Dixie National Rodeo in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Jackson, Mississippi, and the Sheridan WYO Rodeo in Sheridan, |

| 15 | 15 | | Wyoming; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Parker's exemplary record of success has earned |

| 17 | 17 | | him a spot at the National Finals Rodeo, which is taking place in |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Las Vegas, Nevada, from December 7 through December 16, 2023; and |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Tristin Parker is a source of great pride to his |

| 20 | 20 | | family and community, and he is indeed deserving of this |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | prestigious honor; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 23 | 23 | | Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate Tristin |
