| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to pay |

| 3 | 3 | | tribute to Apostle Robert L. Alexander on the occasion of his |

| 4 | 4 | | 65th birthday; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, This distinguished gentleman is well known for |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | his wisdom and generosity of spirit, and he is a source of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | inspiration to his family, to his congregation, and to his many |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | friends; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Robert Alexander was born on October 19, 1958, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | in Gasonia, North Carolina; beloved and respected in his |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | community, he dedicated 25 years to the Austin Independent |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | School District; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A man of spiritual depth and devotion, Robert was |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Faith Christian |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Center, and Bethel Church, where his experiences in the faith |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | encouraged him to pursue his calling as a fulltime minister; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Together with his beloved wife of 42 years, Pastor |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Sharon, Apostle Robert opened Breath of Life Fellowship Church in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 2001; throughout his time as chief apostle, he has ministered to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | the temporal and spiritual needs of innumerable Christians; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Blessed with a servant's heart, Apostle Robert |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | leads a weekly Bible study and has taught at the Bible School of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | the Spiritual Kingdom Theological Institute for four years; he is |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | a devoted father to his children, Shannon and Joshua, and a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | loving grandfather to his three grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, As he achieves this important milestone in his |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | life, it is truly fitting that this esteemed gentleman be |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | recognized for providing enlightenment and hope to his loved |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | ones, to his congregation, and to his community; now, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby recognize Apostle Robert |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | Alexander as a treasured citizen of this state and congratulate |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | him on his 65th birthday; and, be it further |

| 35 | 35 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
