|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sam Garcia earned his place on the list for his |

| 7 | 7 | | role as a partner at Amplo, a Texas-based venture capital fund; |

| 8 | 8 | | with six years of experience in venture capitalism, he focuses on |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | investing in early-stage tech companies, serving on the boards of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Lightyear, Flume, Kredi, Tradespace, Wizehire, Steno, Axion Ray, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and Doxel; he further contributes to the industry as vice |

| 12 | 12 | | president of LatinxVC; and |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A native of Mission, Mr. Garcia holds a bachelor's |

| 16 | 16 | | one of the youngest Hispanic faculty members in the history of |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Through his hard work and commitment to |

| 21 | 21 | | field may aspire, and this prestigious honor is a fitting tribute |
