11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 48.110(d), Education Code, is amended to | |
13 | 13 | read as follows: | |
14 | 14 | (d) For each annual graduate in a cohort described by | |
15 | 15 | Subsection (b) who demonstrates college, career, or military | |
16 | 16 | readiness as described by Subsection (f) in excess of the minimum | |
17 | 17 | number of students determined for the applicable district cohort | |
18 | 18 | under Subsection (c), a school district is entitled to an annual | |
19 | 19 | outcomes bonus of: | |
20 | 20 | (1) if the annual graduate is educationally | |
21 | 21 | disadvantaged, $5,000; | |
22 | 22 | (2) if the annual graduate is not educationally | |
23 | 23 | disadvantaged, $3,000; and | |
24 | 24 | (3) if the annual graduate is enrolled in a special | |
25 | 25 | education program under Subchapter A, Chapter 29, $4,000 [$2,000], | |
26 | 26 | regardless of whether the annual graduate is educationally | |
27 | 27 | disadvantaged. | |
28 | 28 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
