| 14 | 13 | The portion of U.S. Highway 281 in Brooks County between its | |
| 15 | 14 | intersection with County Road 304 and Huppergate Road is designated | |
| 16 | 15 | as the Ernesto Soliz Cantu Memorial Highway. | |
| 17 | 16 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |

| 19 | 18 | designation as the Ernesto Soliz Cantu Memorial Highway and any | |
| 20 | 19 | other appropriate information; and | |
| 21 | 20 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 22 | 21 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 23 | 22 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
