88 AN ACT
99 relating to the Rural Pathway Excellence Partnership (R-PEP)
1010 allotment and outcomes bonus under the Foundation School Program.
1111 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1212 SECTION 1. Section 29.912(e), Education Code, is amended to
1313 read as follows:
1414 (e) An employee of a coordinating entity that manages a
1515 partnership under the program is eligible for membership in and
1616 benefits from the Teacher Retirement System of Texas if the
1717 employee would be eligible for membership and benefits by holding a
1818 similar position at a partnering school district. [An employee is
1919 eligible for membership under this subsection if a partnership
2020 would be authorized to participate in the program, as determined by
2121 the commissioner, but for the maximum expenditure established in
2222 Section 48.118(f).]
2323 SECTION 2. Section 48.118(f), Education Code, is repealed.
2424 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
