| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 43.137(d), Government Code, is repealed. | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Section 43.137(d), | |
| 14 | 14 | Government Code, applies only to a proceeding commenced on or after | |
| 15 | 15 | the effective date of this Act. A proceeding commenced before the | |
| 16 | 16 | effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect on the | |
| 17 | 17 | date the proceeding was commenced, and the former law is continued | |
| 18 | 18 | in effect for that purpose. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
