11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 21.046(e), Property Code, is repealed. | |
13 | 13 | SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Section 21.046(e), | |
14 | 14 | Property Code, applies only to a move or discontinuation that | |
15 | 15 | occurs as a result of an action taken by this state or a political | |
16 | 16 | subdivision of this state on or after the effective date of this | |
17 | 17 | Act. A move or discontinuation that occurs as a result of an action | |
18 | 18 | taken before the effective date of this Act is governed by the law | |
19 | 19 | as it existed immediately before that date, and the former law is | |
20 | 20 | continued in effect for that purpose. | |
21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
