The bill would require the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) to conduct a study to evaluate strategies to improve and expand mental health services provided through the TVC's Military Veteran Peer Network. The report shall be submitted no later than December 1, 2026. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
