| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. The following provisions are repealed: |

| 14 | 14 | | (1) Section 247.066(h), Health and Safety Code; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (2) Section 533A.066, Health and Safety Code; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (3) Sections 22.039(b-1) and (b-2), Human Resources |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Code. |

| 18 | 18 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
