| 14 | 14 | (a-3) A municipality, independent school district, or | |
| 15 | 15 | hospital district that holds its general election for officers on | |
| 16 | 16 | the November uniform election date may change the date on which it | |
| 17 | 17 | holds its general election for officers to the May uniform election | |
| 18 | 18 | date. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
