11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 133.124, Local Government Code, is | |
13 | 13 | amended to read as follows: | |
14 | 14 | Sec. 133.124. ALLOCATION OF FEES TO TRANSPORTATION | |
15 | 15 | ADMINISTRATIVE FEE ACCOUNT. The transportation administrative fee | |
16 | 16 | account is an account in the general revenue fund. The account | |
17 | 17 | consists of money allocated to the account under Section | |
18 | 18 | 133.102(e). [Money in the account may be appropriated only to the | |
19 | 19 | Department of Public Safety to defray the administrative costs | |
20 | 20 | associated with implementing Chapter 706, Transportation Code.] | |
21 | 21 | SECTION 2. The following provisions of the Transportation | |
22 | 22 | Code are repealed: | |
23 | 23 | (1) Section 521.317; | |
24 | 24 | (2) Section 521.3452(b); and | |
25 | 25 | (3) Chapter 706. | |
26 | 26 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
