| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 662, Government Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended by adding Section 662.091 to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 662.091. HISPANIC REGISTERED DIETICIAN DAY. (a) | |
| 15 | 15 | October 6 is Hispanic Registered Dietician Day to raise awareness | |
| 16 | 16 | that less than six percent of registered dieticians in the United | |
| 17 | 17 | States are Hispanic. | |
| 18 | 18 | (b) Hispanic Registered Dietician Day shall be regularly | |
| 19 | 19 | observed by appropriate ceremonies and activities. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
