It is assumed that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.Note: The Texas Department of Transportation indicates that implementation of the bill could result in a violation of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) guidelines regarding compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, which may result in a loss of federal highway funding or other punitive actions by the FHWA.
