| 11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 9502.0301, Special District Local Laws | |
| 13 | 13 | Code, is amended by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (f) Implementation of a project described by Subsection (a) | |
| 15 | 15 | may not disrupt navigation safety or two-way traffic, as defined by | |
| 16 | 16 | Section 66.0172, Transportation Code, in a manner that violates a | |
| 17 | 17 | rule adopted by the board of pilot commissioners for the ports of | |
| 18 | 18 | Harris County under Chapter 66, Transportation Code. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 20 | 20 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 21 | 21 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
