| 14 | 14 | Sec. 11.1691. RESTRICTION ON USE OF PUBLIC MONEY REGARDING | |
| 15 | 15 | BOND PROPOSAL. The board of trustees of a school district may not | |
| 16 | 16 | spend public money to pay or contract with a person who has an | |
| 17 | 17 | interest in the passage of a bond proposal by the district to | |
| 18 | 18 | promote or advocate for the passage of that bond proposal. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
