| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 665, Government Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended by adding Section 665.0215 to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 665.0215. SALARY DURING SUSPENSION. An individual | |
| 15 | 15 | against whom articles of impeachment have been preferred is | |
| 16 | 16 | entitled to continue receiving the individual's salary while | |
| 17 | 17 | suspended from exercising the duties of the individual's office as | |
| 18 | 18 | provided by Section 5, Article XV, Texas Constitution. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
