32 | 22 | SECTION 2. Section 361.1201(2), Health and Safety Code, as | |
33 | 23 | added by this Act, applies only to the transfer of ownership of a | |
34 | 24 | municipal solid waste facility that occurs on or after the | |
35 | 25 | effective date of this Act. A transfer of ownership that occurred | |
36 | 26 | before the effective date of this Act is governed by the law as it | |
37 | 27 | existed immediately before the effective date of this Act, and that | |
38 | 28 | law is continued in effect for that purpose. | |
39 | 29 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
