| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 11.0171, Parks and Wildlife Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (e) The executive director may establish standards and | |
| 15 | 15 | procedures for purchasing goods for resale by the department to | |
| 16 | 16 | meet the business needs of the department and increase revenue | |
| 17 | 17 | potential. Standards and procedures established under this | |
| 18 | 18 | subsection are not required to satisfy state procurement | |
| 19 | 19 | requirements related to competitive bidding or the use of state | |
| 20 | 20 | contracts. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
