| 11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, | |
| 13 | 13 | is amended by adding Section 225.243 to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 225.243. CAMP COUNTY VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL | |
| 15 | 15 | HIGHWAY. (a) Farm-to-Market Road 3535 in Camp County between its | |
| 16 | 16 | intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 1520 and U.S. Highway 271 is | |
| 17 | 17 | designated as the Camp County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway. | |
| 18 | 18 | The designation is in addition to any other designation. | |
| 19 | 19 | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: | |
| 20 | 20 | (1) design and construct markers indicating the | |
| 21 | 21 | designation as the Camp County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway | |
| 22 | 22 | and any other appropriate information; and | |
| 23 | 23 | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at | |
| 24 | 24 | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. It is the intent of the 89th Legislature, Regular | |
| 26 | 26 | Session, 2025, that the provisions added by this Act be renumbered | |
| 27 | 27 | to prevent multiple provisions with the same designation. | |
| 28 | 28 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
