| 12 | 14 | (a) The tribal council of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of | |
| 13 | 15 | Texas, [or] of the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas, or of the | |
| 14 | 16 | Ysleta del Sur Pueblo may employ and commission peace officers to | |
| 15 | 17 | enforce state law within the respective tribe's reservation. | |
| 16 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
