| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 341, Health and Safety |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Code, is amended by adding Section 341.0335 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Sec. 341.0335. FLUORIDATED WATER; DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | INFORMATION. (a) A public water supply system that furnishes to |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the public for a charge drinking water to which fluoride has been |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | added shall disclose in a conspicuous place on each customer's |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | water bill: |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (1) the amount of fluoride that occurs naturally in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the drinking water furnished by the system to the customer; |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (2) the amount of fluoride added to the drinking water |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | before distribution to the customer; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (3) the combined amount of fluoride present in the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | drinking water from the sources described by Subdivisions (1) and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | (2). |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (b) Information disclosed under Subsection (a) must be |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | accurate for drinking water distributed to a customer not more than |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | one week before the bill is provided to the customer. |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | SECTION 2. Section 341.0335, Health and Safety Code, as |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | added by this Act, applies only to a public water supply system bill |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | issued for a billing period that begins on or after the effective |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | date of this Act. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
