| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 2703.153, Insurance Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | adding Subsections (a-1) and (c-1) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (a-1) Not later than May 15 of each year, the department |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | shall issue a call to each title insurance company and title |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | insurance agent engaged in the business of title insurance for the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | statistical report data required under Subsection (a). |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | (c-1) Not later than September 1 of each year, the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | department shall publish on the department's Internet website a |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | compilation report summarizing the statistical reports submitted |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | under Subsection (a). |

| 22 | 22 | | SECTION 2. The changes in law made by this Act apply only to |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | a statistical report filed on or after January 1, 2026. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
