| 10 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 131, Agriculture Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Section 131.085 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 131.085. USE OF "TEXAS HONEY" ON LABEL. A person may | |
| 14 | 14 | not label, sell, or keep, offer, or expose for sale a product | |
| 15 | 15 | identified on its label as "Texas honey" unless the product | |
| 16 | 16 | consists exclusively of honey produced from apiaries in Texas. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
