| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Section 264.107, Family Code, is amended by | |
| 14 | 14 | adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (f) A child in the conservatorship of the department may not | |
| 16 | 16 | decline an appropriate placement under this section unless | |
| 17 | 17 | placement is not in the best interest of the child. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
