| 10 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 11 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 24, Government Code, is |

| 12 | 12 | | amended by adding Sections 24.60044, 24.60045, 24.60046, 24.60047 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and 24.60048, to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Sec. 24.60044. 512TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). |

| 15 | 15 | | (a) The 512th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (b) 512th District Court shall give preference to civil |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | matters. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Sec. 24.60045. 513TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). |

| 19 | 19 | | (a) The 513rd Judicial District is composed of Harris County. |

| 20 | 20 | | (b) 513rd District Court shall give preference to civil |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | matters. |

| 22 | 22 | | Sec. 24.60046. 514TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (HARRIS COUNTY). |

| 23 | 23 | | (a) The 514th Judicial District is composed of Harris County. |

| 37 | 37 | | (b) The 515th Judicial District and the 516th Judicial |

| 38 | 38 | | District are created on October 1, 2026. |

| 39 | 39 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
