| 9 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 118.011, Local Government Code, is |

| 10 | 12 | | amended by amending Subsections (a) and (e) to read as follows: |

| 11 | 13 | | (a) A county clerk shall collect the following fees for |
|---|
| 12 | 14 | | services rendered to any person: |
|---|
| 13 | 15 | | (1) Personal Property Records Filing (Sec. 118.012): |
|---|
| 14 | 16 | | (A) for the first page$ 5.00; |
|---|
| 15 | 17 | | (B) for each additional page or part of a page on |
|---|
| 16 | 18 | | which there are visible marks of any kind$ 4.00; |
|---|
| 17 | 19 | | (2) Real Property Records Filing (Sec. 118.013): |

| 18 | 20 | | (A) for the first page$ 5.00; |
|---|
| 19 | 21 | | (B) for each additional page or part of a page on |
|---|
| 20 | 22 | | which there are visible marks of any kind$ 4.00; |
|---|

| 61 | 63 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 62 | 64 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 63 | 65 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 64 | 66 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 65 | 67 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
