| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 504.202(e-1), Transportation Code, as |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | amended by Chapters 385 (H.B. 282), 506 (H.B. 2503), 768 (H.B. |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 4595), and 1050 (S.B. 280), Acts of the 88th Legislature, Regular |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Session, 2023, is reenacted and amended to read as follows: |

| 16 | 16 | | (e-1) Other than license plates issued under Subsection |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (h), license plates issued under this section may include, on |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | request: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (1) the emblem of the veteran's branch of service; or |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (2) one emblem from another license plate to which the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | person is entitled under Section 504.307, 504.308, 504.309, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | 504.310(b), 504.311, 504.312, 504.313, 504.3135, 504.314, 504.315, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | 504.316, 504.3161, 504.318, 504.319, 504.320, 504.323, 504.325, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 504.327, 504.328, 504.330, 504.331, 504.332, 504.333, 504.334, |

| 25 | 25 | | [or] 504.335, 504.336, 504.337, 504.338, 504.339, or 504.340. |

| 26 | 26 | | SECTION 2. Subchapter D, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | is amended by adding Sections 504.339 and 504.340 to read as |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | follows: |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Sec. 504.339. UNITED STATES ARMY RANGER. (a) The |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | department shall issue specialty license plates for a person who |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | is: |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | (1) an active or former member of a United States Army |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | Ranger unit; or |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | (2) a graduate of the United States Army Ranger |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | School. |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | (b) The license plates must include: |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | (1) a likeness of the Ranger tab authorized by the |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | Department of the Army; and |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | (2) the words "U.S. Army Ranger." |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | Sec. 504.340. 75TH ARMY RANGER REGIMENT. (a) The |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | department shall issue specialty license plates for a person who is |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | an active or former member of the United States Army 75th Ranger |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | Regiment. |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | (b) The license plates must include: |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | (1) a likeness of the 75th Ranger Regiment shoulder |
|---|
| 46 | 46 | | sleeve insignia above a likeness of the 75th Ranger Regiment |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | designated unit insignia; and |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | (2) the words "75th Army Ranger Regiment" at the |
|---|
| 49 | 49 | | bottom of the license plates. |
|---|
| 50 | 50 | | SECTION 3. To the extent of any conflict, this Act prevails |
|---|
| 51 | 51 | | over another Act of the 89th Legislature, Regular Session, 2025, |
|---|
| 52 | 52 | | relating to nonsubstantive additions to and corrections in enacted |
|---|
| 53 | 53 | | codes. |
|---|
| 54 | 54 | | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
