99 relating to the eligibility of a Federation Internationale de
1010 l'Automobile (FIA) World Endurance Championship international
1111 automobile race for funding under the major events reimbursement
1212 program.
1313 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1414 SECTION 1. Section 478.0001(3), Government Code, is amended
1515 to read as follows:
1616 (3) "Event" means any of the following and includes
1717 any activity related to or associated with the following:
1818 (A) the Academy of Country Music Awards;
1919 (B) the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic
2020 Games;
2121 (C) the Bassmaster Classic;
2222 (D) a Big 12 Football Conference Championship
2323 game;
2424 (E) the Breeders' Cup World Championships;
2525 (F) the CMT (Country Music Television) Music
2626 Awards;
2727 (G) a game of the College Football Playoff or its
2828 successor;
2929 (H) the Confederation of North, Central America
3030 and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) Gold Cup;
3131 (I) a CONVRG conference;
3232 (J) an Elite Rodeo Association World
3333 Championship;
3434 (K) a Federation Equestre Internationale World
3535 Cup Final;
3636 (K-1) a Federation Internationale de
3737 l'Automobile (FIA) World Endurance Championship international
3838 automobile race;
3939 (L) a Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme
4040 (FIM) World Supercross Championship race;
4141 (M) the Formula One United States Grand Prix;
4242 (N) the largest event held each year at a sports
4343 entertainment venue in this state with a permanent seating
4444 capacity, including grandstand and premium seating, of at least

6969 Nationals at the Texas Motorplex;
7070 (AA) a national political convention of the
7171 Republican National Committee or the Democratic National

7373 (BB) the National Reined Cow Horse Association
7474 (NRCHA) Championship Series;
7575 (CC) an Olympic activity, including a Junior or
7676 Senior activity, training program, or feeder program sanctioned by
7777 the United States Olympic Committee's Community Olympic
7878 Development Program;
7979 (DD) a presidential general election debate;
8080 (EE) the Professional Bull Riders World Finals;
8181 (FF) the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association

9393 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
