| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 504.403(a), Transportation Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (a) The department shall issue specialty license plates for | |
| 14 | 14 | a current or visiting state or federal judge. The license plates | |
| 15 | 15 | may [must] include the words "State Judge" or "U.S. Judge," as | |
| 16 | 16 | appropriate. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
