| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Subchapter Z, Chapter 39, Utilities Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended by adding Section 39.920 to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 39.920. ANONYMOUS REPORTING PROGRAM FOR GENERATION | |
| 15 | 15 | FACILITIES. The independent organization certified under Section | |
| 16 | 16 | 39.151 for the ERCOT power region shall establish an anonymous | |
| 17 | 17 | reporting program that enables an employee of a power generation | |
| 18 | 18 | company, municipally owned utility, or electric cooperative | |
| 19 | 19 | operating a generation facility in the ERCOT power region to report | |
| 20 | 20 | potential threats to the facility's reliability. The independent | |
| 21 | 21 | organization shall conduct any necessary inspections to | |
| 22 | 22 | investigate an issue identified by a report received through the | |
| 23 | 23 | program. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
