| 11 | 11 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 361.013(d), Health and Safety Code, is | |
| 13 | 13 | amended to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (d) The operator of each municipal solid waste facility | |
| 15 | 15 | shall maintain records and report to the commission annually on the | |
| 16 | 16 | amount and jurisdiction of origin of solid waste that the facility | |
| 17 | 17 | transfers, processes, stores, treats, or disposes of. Each | |
| 18 | 18 | transporter required to register with the commission shall maintain | |
| 19 | 19 | records and report to the commission annually on the amount of solid | |
| 20 | 20 | waste that the transporter transports. The commission by rule | |
| 21 | 21 | shall establish procedures for: | |
| 22 | 22 | (1) recordkeeping and reporting required under this | |
| 23 | 23 | subsection; and | |
| 24 | 24 | (2) posting information reported under this | |
| 25 | 25 | subsection on a publicly available Internet website. | |
| 26 | 26 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
