| 14 | 14 | Sec. 85.0555. DENSITY AND SPACING OF CERTAIN WELLS | |
| 15 | 15 | AFFECTING RANCHING. The commission by rule shall adopt minimum | |
| 16 | 16 | distance requirements or other standards for oil and gas wells in | |
| 17 | 17 | areas where proration units have not been established to provide | |
| 18 | 18 | for a standard development pattern of not more than one well for | |
| 19 | 19 | each 640 acres of land on which an active ranching operation is | |
| 20 | 20 | located. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
