| 8 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 212.009(a), Local Government Code, is |
|---|
| 10 | 12 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 11 | 13 | | (a) The municipal authority responsible for approving plats |
|---|
| 12 | 14 | | shall approve, approve with conditions, or disapprove a plat, all |
|---|
| 13 | 15 | | applicable submittal documents, including construction drawings, |
|---|
| 14 | 16 | | traffic impact analysis, drainage reports, and all other required |
|---|
| 15 | 17 | | documents, permits, or approvals to obtain a final plat within 30 |
|---|
| 16 | 18 | | days after the date the plat is filed. A plat is approved by the |
|---|
| 17 | 19 | | municipal authority unless it is disapproved within that period and |
|---|
| 18 | 20 | | in accordance with Section 212.0091. |

| 19 | 21 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 20 | 22 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 21 | 23 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 22 | 24 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 23 | 25 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
