| 12 | 12 | SECTION 1. Section 201.908, Transportation Code, is amended | |
| 13 | 13 | by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | |
| 14 | 14 | (c) The department shall remove or require the removal of a | |
| 15 | 15 | sign that restricts the speed limit in a construction or | |
| 16 | 16 | maintenance work zone not later than the third day after the date | |
| 17 | 17 | the construction or maintenance work is completed or has been | |
| 18 | 18 | temporarily suspended. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
