| 8 | 10 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 11 | | SECTION 1. Section 212.009, Local Government Code, is |

| 10 | 12 | | amended by adding the following subsection: |

| 11 | 13 | | (a-1) The municipal authority responsible for approving |
|---|
| 12 | 14 | | plats shall provide a list of all required documents. A plat is |
|---|
| 13 | 15 | | deemed to be submitted when all required documents are submitted |
|---|
| 14 | 16 | | and any required fee is paid. |
|---|
| 15 | 17 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 16 | 18 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 17 | 19 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 18 | 20 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 19 | 21 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
